Separating grass from its natural environment the installation piece comprises a grid of 25 grass strands. Each is preserved within a custom-made tube (quarts extrusion) to be painstakingly cultivated and nurtured within a block of metal. In doing so the work celebrates the ordinary while questioning our perception of how nature is viewed and experienced.
