My Nourooz

'My Nourooz' (2013) Oil stained timber, sheer fabric, mirrors, fluorescent lights. [Underbelly Arts, Cockatoo Island]

Conceived and created for Underbelly Arts, an exhibition on Cockatoo Island, Sydney Harbour, My Nourooz is a collaboration with Maryam Litkouhi. Comprising a large pendant form suspended from the ceiling the work explores the disparity of two absolutes within the fundamental facts of geometry: the sphere and the square, as a negotiation of alliance.
