Pince-nez

Pince-nez (2013)  CNC milled and anodized, aircraft grade aluminium, polarized lens.

The traditional shape of the pince-nez has been realised within a contemporary aesthetic utilising CNC milling for a continuous surface. Ostensibly an experiment in hybridising old and new within a single form, the object explores CNC as a means of transitional design delivery with sufficient finesse to hold elements such as glass.
